POCD Advisory Committee Profile

Summary
This advisory committee consists of 10 members and acts in an advisory capacity to the Town relative to the Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD). The POCD serves as a strategic guide for managing growth and preserving valuable resources. It also addresses key aspects of Windsor’s stewardship, offering a framework for policies, capital investments, and zoning regulations. The POCD is updated every 10 years in compliance with state requirements. Members do not have term dates and the Committee will only meet until the POCD is complete (fall of 2025).
